Return to Latest News
This week, the pupils in Site 4 Class B have loved exploring their spooky sensory story, 'We’re Going on a Pumpkin Hunt'.
They went on a spooky adventure, discovering lots of exciting things along the way. Everyone explored a pumpkin, paper bats, spooky cobwebs with spiders, a ghost, a haunted house and some spooky cats.
The pupils also got hands-on with their very own pumpkin. The children had so much fun carving it, scooping out the insides and exploring the pumpkin seeds. There were lots of exciting textures to investigate as they got messy and discovered what was hiding inside.
The children also enjoyed exploring pumpkins of different shapes and sizes and had great fun trying on a witch’s hat.
There were lots of wonderful opportunities to explore different textures, develop their curiosity and engage with the story through their senses. The children were captivated by the spooky surprises and absolutely loved joining in with the pumpkin hunt.
What a spooktacular week full of sensory exploration, messy fun and Halloween magic!
