Autumn has Arrived in Class B
Return to Latest News
Autumn has well and truly arrived in Site 4 Class B, and the pupils have loved exploring all the sights, colours and textures that this beautiful season has to offer.
This week, they enjoyed a range of autumn-themed sensory and creative activities.
The pupils made their very own leaf crowns. The children chose some beautiful real autumn leaves and carefully stuck them onto their crowns before proudly wearing them on their heads.
They also practised their fine motor skills by using scissors to cut leaves. This gave them lots of opportunities to develop hand strength, coordination and control while exploring the different textures of the leaves.
Their creative activity was leaf printing. Everyone collected some lovely autumn leaves, painted them using a range of beautiful autumnal colours and pressed them onto paper to create their very own leaf artwork.
Everyone has had a fantastic time getting messy, exploring nature and celebrating the arrival of autumn in Class B!
