Music and Movement Fun

Site 4 Class B has been having lots of fun during their Music and Movement sessions. This week, they have been bringing back one of the pupil's favourite activities from Sports Day - parachute games. 

The pupils absolutely loved using the parachute during Sports Day, so they thought they would bring the fun into the classroom sessions too.

They start with the warm-up song, before enjoying some of their favourites, including 'My Big Blue Boat' and 'Colours Over You'.

The children get involved by helping staff to move the parachute up and down and from side to side, working together and following the rhythm of the music. They also love lifting the parachute high and encouraging the pupils to stand underneath and look up at all of the beautiful colours.

There have been lots of smiles, laughter and excitement during the sessions. The pupils absolutely love Music and Movement and it has been wonderful to see them joining in, moving to the music and having fun together.
