Site 4 Class B pupils have been having lots of fun during their Attention Autism sessions, developing focus, attention and anticipation through exciting and motivating activities.
For Stage 1, the children watched with great excitement as a variety of surprises were pulled from the bucket. They had light-up toys, a dancing cactus, a bubble machine and even a balloon that was blown up before being released to fly around the room.
These activities encouraged the children to watch, wait and build anticipation for what was coming next. There were lots of smiles and laughter as they waited for each exciting surprise.
For Stage 2, the pupils had a very messy and hilarious Ice Cream Splat. They filled an ice cream cone with shaving foam, strawberry sauce and colourful sprinkles. Then, they then sang their song before watching the ice cream splat into the tray, sending shaving foam flying everywhere.
The children thought it was absolutely hilarious and loved watching the big splat.
Everyone loves their Attention Autism sessions and the excitement, anticipation, laughter and sensory fun they bring!
