Elmer's Weather

Site 4 Class B has had so much fun exploring the wonderful story 'Elmer’s Weather'.

The pupils enjoyed bringing the story to life through lots of exciting sensory experiences. They explored shaving foam to represent snow, sunglasses for the sunshine, a parachute for the rainbow, and bubbles blown in the wind. It was fantastic to see the children interacting with the different props and exploring the story in their own unique ways.

The creativity continued with lots of colourful Elmer-inspired activities. The pupils decorated milk bottles to look like Elmer, used sponges and paint to create beautiful rainbows, and even decorated cardboard boxes to make their very own Elmer costumes.

There were lots of smiles, laughter, sensory exploration and wonderful opportunities to engage with colour, textures and the story. 

They absolutely loved 'Elmer’s Weather' and had such a fantastic time learning, creating and having fun together!
