Preparing a Debate

Class 34 took part in a debate about music as part of their learning about democracy. The pupils collaborated with learners from Class 32 and worked together to prepare arguments for a pop vs rock music debate.

The learners researched and discussed different viewpoints, developing interesting points to support their chosen genre. Throughout the activity, they practised teamwork, communication and respectful listening to others' opinions, demonstrating an understanding of democratic discussion and debate.
