Class 4 celebrated National Ocean Day and watched a film called 'The Undersea Cleaning Spree', which is a beautiful animation about plastic pollution. This child-friendly video looked at ocean plastic, seeing the problems from the viewpoint of different sea creatures.

Below is a key message from the film.

"One day. Blub the octopus noticed lots of strangers near her home under the sea. She soon discovered that they are actually plastic items discarded by humans. The sea animals decided to throw the plastic waste back to the humans. Will the humans realise the dangers of plastic in the ocean?"

The pupils then had a go at cleaning their own ocean. They removed all of the plastic and rubbish from the sea creature's home, which the pupils loved.
