Countdown to Beamish

Class One has been busy getting ready for their big outing to Beamish later this week. The pupils have absolutely loved exploring their Beamish‑themed sensory stories to help prepare them for the adventure ahead.

During learning time, they have been exploring different areas of Beamish through hands‑on play and imaginative activities. The pupils have enjoyed discovering their Home Farm sensory tray, practising their mark‑making on chalkboards, making their own old‑fashioned sweets, and even going down the 'coal pit' in their classroom setup.

It’s been a wonderful build‑up to the trip, and everyone can’t wait to experience the real thing together.
