World of Work

This year, many pupils have stepped out of the classroom and into real workplaces, gaining first‑hand experience, building confidence, and discovering new possibilities for their future.

Work experience is more than just a few days in a workplace. It helps young people:

•  Develop essential skills such as communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving
•  Understand the world of work and what different careers truly involve
•  Grow in confidence by meeting new people and taking on new responsibilities
•  Make informed choices about their future education, training, and career paths

Opportunities like these help pupils see the relevance of what they learn in school and inspire them to set ambitious goals for the future.
