New Resources and Sensory Room Refurbishment at Thomas Bewick School

Over the summer, Prosper Learning Trust invested in new classroom resources for Thomas Bewick School, the Trust have also replenished the school’s sensory and soft playrooms. Included in this investment are activity resources shared within departments, as well as enhancement of supplies for individual classes to aid in teaching and learning. In addition, the sensory and soft playrooms throughout the school also have a new look with padded floors and walls, an increased range of lights and sounds, and even more interactive equipment for pupils.

Daley Barber Allen, Headteacher of Thomas Bewick School, said "We are very grateful for the support and investment from Prosper Learning Trust which has greatly helped us to improve our resources inside and outside of the classroom, across all three of our sites. These improvements have provided us with the opportunity to enhance the learning environment and school experience for all of our fantastic pupils."
