Class 14 Ride the Metro to the Airport!

Class 14 have been learning all about transport and journeys. We started our Topic looking at different vehicles and how they travel. On Monday we travelled on the Metro to the airport. We got on the Metro at Kingston Park. Everyone did so well and enjoyed the journey, looking out of the window, taking in the sights. We then walked through the airport and went to see the aeroplanes on the runway. We were very lucky to see one take off too. It was exciting to see and I think some of us wanted to get on the plane too! We then got back on the Metro to travel to the minibus.

This was a big trip with lots of transitions and busy places and Class 14 did exceptionally well. The class team are so proud of them all. Our next trip is going on The Shields Ferry which we are all excited for.
