International Women's Day

We have been looking at some inspirational and revolutionary women in Class 11.

We made paper aeroplanes to represent Amelia Earheart, the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. Then we blasted our stomp rocket into the air and thought about Mae Jemison, the first African American woman to become and astronaut. Finally we made collage worlds to represent Greta Thunberg and her work on climate action.
