Animal Fun at Northumberland Zoo

As part of Class 24's topic 'Paws, Claws and Whiskers', the pupils visited Northumberland Zoo. They explored animal adaptations in a workshop filled with quills, feathers, and insects. Then, they had their own private birds of prey display with Ron the hawk and Derrick the owl.

The pupils explored the zoo and loved seeing all of the different creatures, but particularly loved the leaf cutter ants, snow leopards, and bats. They even got a free child ticket for when they next go with their families.
