Class 18’s Trip to Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens

Class 18 have been learning about rainforests, and today we all visited Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens to have a look at the different plants that can grow in a tropical climate. We held a big leaf from a banana tree and looked at Japanese koi fish swimming in a pond. After that, we looked around the museum and saw old fossils, skeletons, and animals, and then enjoyed playing in a nearby park.
