Combining Colours in the Cold

This term our topic is about Changes. Part of that topic is looking at colours! This week we have been looking at colours indoors and outdoors, but when the snow came down we couldn’t wait to get out there and us it as our big white blank canvas!

We took to our school field with some food colouring and water in spray bottles and explored using the primary colours red blue and yellow on the snow. After this we recapping our prior learning of creating secondary colours by spraying two primary colours together and predicting what colour we could make!

We had lots of fun!
