Rainforest Art

Class 30 had a great art lesson this week creating pictures of rainforests for our rainforest topic. We looked at different pictures of rainforests and discussed the features of them such as plants, rivers, animals and colours. We then used coloured pencils and pastels to create our own pictures, drawing or sticking on animals that are commonly found in the rainforest. We found smudging the pastels to be a particularly effective art technique!
